PALSAR is an active microwave sensor, which is not affected by weather conditions and operable both daytime and nighttime. Pixel spacing is from 5 to 100m. PALSAR data is used in many researching fields such as environment, natual resources, atmosphere, geology, mineral exploition and natural disaster such as flood, earthquake, landslide, oil spill, etc,.
